So, what even is Ligature?
Ligature 30 is the University of Florida's annual symposium featuring internationally recognized designers who lead lectures, workshops, and a juried exhibition of graphic design students' work. While 2021 has rendered the event completley virtual, thanks to faculty, students, and the Gainesville community, the weekend long event will still proceed this February 26 - 27, 2021.

EXHIBITION
The Ligature 30 exhibition will be held at the Gary R. Libby Gallery from February 15 - March 5. Accepted works will be featured and you will even be able to vote for your favorite project by voting in the People's Choice Award through the link below!

Ligature 30 Speakers
Alex Trochut
Alex Trochut, is a Spanish artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and typographer. Born in Barcelona and currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He has created album covers for Katy Perry’s single "Roar" as well as The Rolling Stones' Rolled Gold: The Very Best of the Rolling Stones, among others.
Antionette Carroll
Anoinette Carroll is the President and CEO of Creative Reaction Lab, a nonprofit educating, training, and challenging Black and Latinx youth to become leaders designing healthy and racially equitable communities. During her career, Antionette has worked for non-profits working for social justice, human rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion as a communications specialist.
Andrea Gomez
Andrea Gomez is a UF Graphic Design graduate currently working at Proctor & Gamble. She will be leading a workshop on Friday, February 26 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM.
